Eating high carbs and wheat and it effects.
So, yesterday I weighed in and tracked my weight and had lost a grand total of 20 lbs to date. Since it was my mother in laws birthday this past week and we were taking her out to eat we let her pick the place to go. After walking around at the stockyards in Fort Worth she finally settled on a TexMex restaurant called Habanero’s or something. Anywho I figured I had been good on my diet and I’d splurge a little. So I had some fajitas and beans and some chips and salsa. To my chagrin the tortillas they had were flour (I hate flour tortillas) and there was very little meat on a huge bed of onion and bell peppers. I ate my food high carbs and all and blech… A few hours later I felt my energy level plummet and I felt bloated and lethargic and i got heartburn! Needless to say I don’t think I’ll be eating any grains as they make me feel really bad and will be sticking to my LCHF diet since I’ve felt great with no heartburn since I started it.
