My diet so far
So, over the past month my husband, sister, and I changed over to a low carb high fat diet. I can honestly say that I pretty happy with it and loving the non hunger I feel after I eat. So far I am 17 lbs down from where I started and I feel like this was a doable change. Calories are still important. You can’t eat tons of calories and expect to lose. The just that I’ve taken is to eat less than 100 carbs a day at the most and to if you want to go truly low eat under 50. This is net carbs not gross. This means subtract your fiber from your carb intake and still stay within your daily calorie intake. You want to eat at least 50% of your calories in fat daily. This will keep you fuller longer and your body will thank you for it. At first the hard part is not eating sweets all the time but if you eat this way at least 80% of the time you will lose. More information and a better explanation and the ideas behind it all there is a documentary called “Fat Head”. Anywho, 17lbs down in a month and there is definitely something to this!
